Carlos Sorentino

Director & Chairman

Dr. Sorentino has degrees in engineering and economics. He specialises in the valuation, planning and development of mineral resources in evaporitic deposits and management of mining projects in South America; particularly in the Andes Mountains where he prepared detailed engineering and bankable feasibility studies for the exploitation of the Salar del Rio Grande and, more recently for two Lithium projects in Salta, Argentina.

Dr. Sorentino's doctoral dissertation was in the field of mineral economics. He holds a Masters of Environmental Studies degree in the topic of resource economics, a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemistry) and a Diploma in Radioisotopes Technology. He is a Fellow and a Chartered Professional of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, a member of the Mineral Industry Consultants Association and a member of the American Chemical Society.

Dr. Sorentino holds directorships in a number of private corporations in Australia, Argentina and elsewhere. He is a honorary Associate in Macquarie University, Wollongong University, University of Jujuy (Argentina) and in the Kalgoorlie School of Mines.


Robert Adamson

Treasurer

Robert (Bob) Adamson holds the degrees of BSc and MSc (First Class Hons Geology) and is a Member of The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM), a Chartered Professional (Geology), and a member of the Australasian Institute of Mineral Valuers and Appraisers (Certified Mineral Valuer).

Bob Adamson has over 40 years of professional experience in the mineral industry, initially in geological and corporate management and since 1993, as an independent consultant in economic geology. He has worked with major mining houses and junior companies on a wide range of exploration and consulting projects for base and precious metals, diamonds and uranium, and has had considerable experience in the underground and surface mining of most of these commodities. Bob has wide experience in exploration property appraisals and valuations, and in providing geological inputs to mineral resource and reserve estimations. He has authored a number of Mineral Asset Valuations, Independent Geological Reports and Expert Witness Reports. His regional experience includes Australia (all States), New Zealand, Namibia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Botswana, Canada, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, South Korea and China.


Anthony Osman

Director

Tony is a commercial geologist with over 40 years’ experience in coal prospect assessment, evaluation and development programs from grass roots appraisals through to mining company transformation (Indonesia, Australia, North Vietnam, Pakistan). Established the entire operations of Indonesia's first foreign coal contract company, PT Arutmin in 1981-84. He is a specialist in cultural aspects of exploration activity in Asian and SW Pacific countries, He also has experience in diamonds, manganese and nickel laterites (Indonesia). Bauxite and laterites (Australia). Porphyry Cu-Au-Mo (Bougainville PBG) and base metals. He is a Competent Person and Expert Witness for the purposes of the JORC Code and the Indonesian KCMI Code.


Ian Blayden

Director

Ian graduated with a PhD from the university of Newcastle in 1971 and worked with a number of companies including BHP, Exxon, Earth Resources Australia and BP Coal, principally on oil and coal projects. He established Geological and Management Services Pty Ltd in 1984 and has been working as a consultant ever since. This work has been largely related to Australian projects but has included projects in South East Asia, Africa and Central America. He has worked in exploration management project appraisal due diligence, resource reviews and the preparation of Independent Expert Reports for inclusion in IPO’s. These have focused on coal but have also included, gold, silver, base metals and copper.


John McIntyre

Director

Mr John McIntyre (BE (Min) Hon., FAusIMM, CP (Mining) , MAIMVA (CMV), MMICA, MAIMA (CMA)) is a Principal and Managing Director of BDA. He is a mining engineer who has been involved in the Australian and international mining industry for more than 40 years, with operational and management experience in copper, lead, zinc, nickel, gold, uranium and coal, in open pit and underground operations.

His experience includes project valuation and technical assessment, operations management, strategic planning, cost estimation, technical due diligence audits and operations trouble-shooting. He has been involved in numerous mining projects and operations, feasibility studies and technical and operational reviews in Australia, West Africa, New Zealand, North and South America, PNG and South East Asia.

He has been a consultant for more than 20 years and has been Managing Director of BDA since 1994, involved in the development of the independent engineering, valuation and technical audit roles.


Phil Thomas

Director

Phil has extensive experience in the Mining and Investment Banking sector with significant milestones achieved during his career. He has more than 20 years experience in investment banking and 13 years in resources. He is President of Arrowstar Resources NL (TSXv:AWS) and past CEO and chairman of Admiralty Resources (ASX:ADY) where he was focussed on valuations, banking feasibility studies and capital raising. He presided over the operations of an iron ore mine in Chile and lithium facility in Argentina.

Phil has completed an appraisal of three iron ore projects in Chile, Mexico and Alaska, two lithium projects in Argentina, copper concentration projects in Mexico and Peru and nickel, cobalt, lead and zinc in Australia. He has also conducted a valuation on a poly metallic gold and copper project in East Europe and gold projects in the USA. Phil has been involved with oil exploration in Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Phil is President of Panopus Plc a Hong Kong based resources and banking consultancy that specialises in advisory, capital raising, banking feasibility studies, valuations and appraisals. Clients are in both the private and public sectors.

Phil graduated from Australian National University majoring in Geology and received his Masters Degree in Business from Monash University. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and Australasian Institute of Mineral Valuers and Appraisers and is a Certified Mineral Valuer.
